ABOUT ALEISHA
A born entertainer, Aleisha was plucked off the family farm in New Zealand and taken to dance lessons at the young age of 3. A life-long love affair with the stage had begun.
Graduating from ED5 Performing Arts International in Sydney, Australia, Aleisha kicked off her professional career as a dancer before leaping into the world of circus. She was immediately drawn to aerial arts where she found her creative inspiration exploring the exquisite physicality of movement in spin on her favourite apparatus - the aerial hoop.
Aleisha’s vivacious personality combined with her eclectic training and performance background makes her a sought after artist for a variety of productions. From the opera theatres of the famous Salzburg Festspiele in Austria, to being cast as the starring enchantress & aerialist of a high end illusion show, she has captivated audiences across the globe with her dynamic onstage presence and breathtaking aerial performances.
Some of her other stage credits include working with Loosy Smokes (Ireland), ‘Miss Houdini’ Kevin and Caruso (U.S.A), Carnival Cruise Lines (U.S.A), ‘Two Pound Parlour’ Miss Friby, ‘Bootlegged’ Red Bennies, The Wonderland Speigeltent, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Australian Aerial Arts Festival, Boomtown Fair (U.K), Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, ‘The Countdown Spectacular’ and Southern Ballet Theatre Company.An accomplished aerial artist, her extensive training and performing background in dance, theatre and circus informs her teaching practice, where she loves to work with her students to empower and help them achieve their own personal training goals, alongside encouraging their own artistic & creative endeavours
