Dance & movement in any form fills the heart with joy & makes one happy!  At Bottoms Up we have both barefoot & heels dance classes that you can immerse yourself in, suitable for varying levels.  We have an amazing variety of dance based choreography classes to suit many different styles & types of movers.  

Dance based classes are perfect to add as an additional course per week, and will continue to build strength, technique & flow in a different way,  and will compliment & add new & exciting elements to your individual movement which translates to your pole class.

Barefoot Courses

fluidity with jaqwith ja

Move & flow like liquid

Refine your movement, move like liquid and flow around the pole. Find flow within your individual movement. 

This course combines  grounded movement, leaps & spins that soar & swirl, rolls, floor-work & different shapes.  Fluidity will give you a new & lyrical approach to pole dance, new movement pathways that will benefit you in any form of movement, discover how your body can move, and learn tools to create beautiful fluid movement on and off the pole.  

Rather than focussing on lengthy choreographies throughout the term, Fluidity will give you short sequences/combos of movement each week (or bi-weekly) that swirl & roll from ground & floor and back again.   Inspiration can be taken from anywhere, and this class will  make your body, mind & heart feel wonderful, & increase your body, movement & musicality awareness.  

Crafted & taught by Jacquie

Fluidity is a barefoot course.  Please wear kneepads, long pants for slide-ability, socks/leg warmers and have something to cover your shoulders. Bring sweat towel, separate pole cleaning towel, water bottle

This class is highly recommended and suitable for students who have completed Intermediate 1 & above

Heels Courses

 

LOW FLOW HEELS WITH JAQ

Gliding, sweeping, swirling heels flow

Move like liquid. Smooth, graceful, circular, twizzling low flow movement blending Jacquie’s signature style of pole flow, fluidity & floor flow with moody, dark, fierce vibes. Learn to dance on your toe-box combined with  heels edge-work.  Create line & length throughout all parts of your body. Discover tiny micro-movements & nuances that blend cohesively with long leg lines & big sweeping circular moments.   Musicality & the ability to hear, feel & 'dance' the music is an important part of this class.  A challenging and beautiful course.

Honed, choreographed & taught by Jaq

Students will learn short & new flow choreography sequences every week, including floor work & technique.  Course includes 2-weeks of tricks based classes throughout the term

Open to students Intermediate 3 & above with sound pole dance AND/OR dance knowledge

Highest Heels, & kneepads required. Dressing for class provides the atmosphere.

SLUT'DROP WITH AMANDA

Slinky & Sexy aerial old-school strip spin club pole.

Are you wanting to take your sexy, strip-club style pole dance off the ground? Pole tricks, old-school grinds, hip dips, pussy pops, body rolls, floor work, base work and twerking. 

Honed, choreographed & taught by Amanda

Students will learn 2x 4-week choreographies each term including spin pole combos, floor work & technique.

Suitable for students Inter 3 and above. Must be comfortable climbing on spin and doing straddle, hello legs, layback and in either inside or outside leg hang. 

Heels, knee pads and pole shorts required.  Dress for class always provides the atmosphere!

SLUT'OGRAPHY WITH AMANDA

Slinky & Sexy old school strip club pole

Sexy, strip-club style pole dance. Old-school grinds, hip dips, pussy pops, body rolls, floor work, base work and twerking.

Noughty Pole will be bringing back the best hits of the 2000’s in a fun, flirty, heels-based dance class.

Are you ready to rock?! ....

Steel Stilletos is a heels choreography pole dance course celebrating all things rock & metal. Heel clacks, hair whips, big tunes and big mood!

HEEL CAMP WITH MYA

Bootcamp in heels!

While not quite a dance course, Heel Camp is your first stop to leaning how to navigate those heels & learn good technique fundamentals right from the beginning.  Bootcamp style  to get you moving smoother & with confidence in stripper heels!  Foot & ankle strengthening exercises, practise walking in heels, getting from standing to the floor & back up, using your platform edge when dancing & understanding how to use your heels properly.

Open to ALL levels & an absolute must if you dance in heels!

POLE'OGRAPHY 1 with mya 

Sassy, sexy & downright fun!

Beginner Level, including new Beginners

If you’re interested in trying pole dancing we suggest coming to Pole’Ography. This casual choreography class is sooooo much fun and perfect for beginners & new brand new students. You will learn basic spins, floorwork and movement and put together in a sassy mini routine.  Pole’Ography is the best cardio workout you'll ever try, an excellent start to your weekend & perfect to get a sassy taste of what Pole Dancing is all about,

SPIN POLE'OGRAPHY with mya 

Sassy, sexy & spinny!

Beginners 2 & above

Sassy & fun choreography, the same format as Pole'Ography but on a spin pole! - Whaaaaaat you say?  Yes, the pole spins on it's own!  You will learn basic spins, floorwork and movement and put together in a mini routine all on the spin pole! Pole’ography is super fun, super sassy & a great cardio workout! 

Students must have completed a Beginner level course & above

Heels and knee-pads required.

HEELS TECHNIQUE WITH JAQ

Refine your heels movement

Cut the stomping, clomping, smashing, wobbly ankles and hunch from your heeled dancing. Learn technique tips, strengthing exercises, weight transfers to keep you safe and enable you to 'dance' when moving in heels. If you dance in heels this class will help you to master weightlessness and glide.  Includes a flow sequence each week combining all that is learned.

Suitable for ALL levels, with some heels/pole experience
