Cancellation Policies

COURSE/CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY

 

  1. All cancellations, credit requests and refunds must be made in writing, admin@bottomsupdance.com.au

  2. Each course includes a $50 Deposit.

  3. $50 Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstance including sickness or injury.

  4. If cancellations are received 14 Days prior to the course commencement date a refund or credit can be issued minus a $50 Deposit per course.

  5. Cancellations received within 14 Days prior to course commencement date are neither non-refundable nor transferable for credit unless a medical certificate is produced.

  6. Refunds are not available for any courses or classes after course commencement date, including in sickness or injury.

  7. Credits may be arranged at Bottoms Up’s discretion with a valid medical certificate after course or class commencement date.

  8. Medical certificates can be produced for credit purposes only, unless received 14 days prior to course commencement date.

  9. Medical certificates must cover a minimum of 3 weeks of the course period.

  10. Failure to arrive will incur a full cost of course fee.

  11. Cancellation date is taken from the date of written contact and cannot be backdated to missed classes.

  12. In the event your course has a waiting list and your spot can be filled by another student Bottoms Up may organise a partial credit for your class/course fee paid. This is left to Bottoms Up’s discretion. We must receive your cancellation in writing prior to course commencement.

  13. Credits are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.

  14. Credits must be used within twelve (12) months of original enrolment date.

  15. Cancellations/postponement due to Covid outbreaks and Lockdowns, we will endeavour to make up classes, altho this cannot be guaranteed.

COVID-19 CANCELLATION CLAUSE

In the event of studio closure due to Government Covid-19 directives Bottoms Up will endeavour to provide online classes or make-up classes but these cannot be guaranteed. Class credit for extended lockdowns will be applied

as follows:* 

  • For closures/lockdowns of up to 7 days wherein there is no possibility of extending the term or providing an online class, cash credit for missed classes will be automatically applied to your account. 

  • * For closures that extend past 7 days wherein there is no possibility of extending the term or providing online classes,  free access to our online on demand class library will be provided in lieu of make-up classes or cash credit. 

  • * Casual classes that are cancelled due to lockdowns or extended closures will be automatically credited. 

  • * Cash refunds for classes missed due to lockdown will not be provided.

 
MAKEUP CLASSES

When enrolling into an 8-week course (or similar) you are committing to 8-wks of classes and in doing so making yourself available for your at least 80% of your course.  Please be aware makeup classes are not guaranteed. 

 

From the 30th March 2022 the following will apply:

  • 24hrs notice of non attendance must be given.  The only exemption to the 24hr policy is a positive covid result – however we require notice prior to your class.

  • makeup classes must be made within the current term, in no circumstances will these be rolled over to other terms

  • missed makeup classes will only be honoured in exceptional circumstances

  • your missed class will endeavour to be made up in another course, depending on availability.  This may potentially mean turning up for a class and waiting to see if a spot is available.

 

Please understand all of our classes have number limits, many with extensive waitlists.  We cannot offer credits for ‘change of mind’ once Term has commenced.  Choose your course carefully with being able to commit to your class.
